Kiran completed her Physiotherapy degree in Southampton, U.K in 2008. Since then she has gained extensive experience in many areas of Physiotherapy: musculoskeletal, neurology, respiratory, vestibular, head injuries, sports, oncology, chronic pain, pre-employment assessments, and vocational rehabilitation. Her passion is working in musculoskeletal and vocational rehab with the goal of injury prevention as well as pain management. She takes a holistic approach to her treatment and believes in the promotion of an active independent lifestyle through education and individualised rehabilitation programmes.
Kiran joined Active Intervention Management in April 2014 and is working predominantly in Vocational programmes (stay at work programmes) and chronic pain/pain management programmes, as well as conducting ergonomic workstation assessments and functional assessments. Kiran also works in a local clinic treating musculoskeletal injuries and leads rehabilitation programmes for people living with/affected by cancer (PINC and STEEL programmes).
Outside of work, Kiran is an outdoor adventure enthusiast and a committed member/volunteer of the Northland Search & Rescue team. She is often found hiking, biking, kayaking, or paddle boarding. She also balances her lifestyle with regular practice of yoga and meditation.
