The JobFit System
PEFA is a one- hour job specific functional test that includes a musculoskeletal screen (for any current injuries), a fitness test and job-specific postural tolerances and material handling. The worker’s performance is then compared to the job demands to determine their overall PEFA score ranging between 1 (met job demands) and 4 (a significant mismatch).
The presentation spends time talking about the scientific evidence demonstrating consistency and predictive validity. This makes everything fair and helpful for all parties in the process.
